Wood Fired Algae Glaze Porcelain Wiggle Cup 2

The Algae glaze on this ceramic cup is stunning.  It's a medium sized cup and wonderful to hold in the hand.  Due to the glaze drips on the bottom, this cup has a very slight wobble.  This cup is food, oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe, though we always recommend washing your pieces by hand.

This cup was wood fired in our kiln. The ash kisses the clay and it shows on the bottom of the cup.  Wood firing lends special nuances to the glazes.

This cup is hand thrown from porcelain clay.  Afterward the clay is manipulated to created ridges and indentations. This cup is a one of a kind as no two are alike.
