Sugar skulls are part of the landscape of the southwest with its close proximity to Mexico.  This sugar skull tile has heart eyes with swirls and embellished forehead.

Tile is handcrafted by pressing soft clay into a carved plaster mold to create raised ridges. The valleys are flooded with glaze and then fired to cone 5.  The tile is suitable for indoor or outdoor installation.  It can also be used as a trivet or hung on the wall with the notch in the back. 

Sized to accommodate a grout line resulting in 6 inch finished dimension. This is a handmade tile and variations in color, texture, and size occur naturally.

Care information

Handwash with soapy water or window cleaner. Suitable for dishwasher, but best to hand wash because dishwasher may etch the glazes over time.
