Intro to Encaustic

Create a sampler of assorted encaustic applications on wax on a cradled birch panel. All materials provided. Wear clothes that will look good with wax on them or bring an apron.

Your instructor Carrie Greer has been wax painting since 2017. She loves to go on a journey with the wax to see where it takes her. Encaustics don't respond to an artists need for control.
